His parents?

I remember when this film came out. One of my first thoughts was how was it that Eric Brown's parents let him star in this, and why there never seem to be any repercussions from the state of California or Los Angeles County.

Anyone have any insight?

Why would there be any "repercussions?" The movie isn't illegal, and he did not really have sex with the older actress during the filming of the movie. You do know the difference between fantasy and reality, right?

Exposing underage boys and girls to unclothed strangers is. Situating them in sexual situations also is, depending on the degree.

So, where the kid probably didn't have sex with Sylvia Krystel, him being in the same room with her stripped down, probably was.

This is what gets me, some film makers, because they're on the inside track of the film industry, which helps law enforcement and the social health by sanction of the government, go ahead and do drugs and then film this kind of stuff thinking they're invulnerable to the law. And, they get away with it.

Oh well.

Blueghost, well the law is the law. There is nothing in the law that says minors being around unclothed people of the opposite sex is illegal. Wouldn't you agree that nudist beaches/resorts are legal? The law says that minors in sexually explicit images is illegal. Nude scenes in a mainstream move are not sexually explicit.

reply

The context was sexual though, that's the difference.

That's not what the law says. The law says minors in sexually explicit images is illegal. It doesn't say that minors in scenes in which there is nudity in a sexual context is illegal.

Making a film about an illegal act is not illegal. If it was, all films with murder scenes would be illegal too. Relax, it's just fiction, but I would have loved to be 'molested' by Sylvia Kristel too.

By the way, the acting in this film is HORRIBLE.

I'm with Blueghost! Anyone committing a fictitious crime in a film should be prosecuted as if they actually committed the crime!

Why isn't Steve Buscemi behind bars already? Is he in hiding? He must have committed SEVERAL fake crimes on Boardwalk Empire. I hear they've shot another season now too. So that means he's probably committed dozens of new fake felonies and probably won't see one day in a cell, thanks to those liberals in Hollywood, who are protected by that socialist, Kenyan, anti-colonialist, Muslim, Obama!

I say it's time we all stand up for America and arrest the parents of the kid who played Jason in Friday the 13th! Letting him get killed like that and become a demonic, half-decomposed psycho...there HAS to be a law against that!

Get your torches and pitchforks folks! I say it's time for a lynchin'! Yee-haw!

BTW, BG, you have destroyed any chance of a career as a prosecutor with that post.

Love is like breathing. You have to take some in and let it out to live.
