Anyone in doubt of the irrational witch-hunt nature of the current anti-pedo hysteria should consider this: If it were somehow revealed, by Sylvia, Eric, or someone with first-hand knowledge of what took place on set, that Eric did indeed penetrate Sylvia and the love scenes were not fake, all hell would break loose. Even though this happened in a film made more than 30 years ago, in which no harm was done to anyone, after which all parties involved have had, to say the least, happy and productive lives, you would see those lives destroyed, D.A. careers built on personal pain built even higher, and a media frenzy that would rival the MJ trial.

Sex crimes are en vogue in our society, while war crimes and economy-crashing financial crimes go unpunished. The public gets what they deserve. More of the same.
