Anyone know? I really would like to track down a copy that doesn't involve me paying 50 bucks for the out of print DVD, and I don't trust those shadey Korean bootlegs floating around either.
What's the deal with Anchor Bay releasing great movies (Possession, Blue Collar, Two Lane Blacktop) only for them to go out of print without ever re-newing the rights.

You could try buying the double-feature from Anchor Bay. Right now there's one that retails for 25 bucks used. Not a bad deal since it comes with Shock. I wasn't even aware this movie was out of print. I remember buying this double-feature dvd for less than 10 bucks. I also got the vhs when it first came out. It was something around 15USD. Not bad. I'd say just rent the f ucker and burn it into your computer. I figure it's okay to rip something which is o.o.p.

Possession is already OOP and HTF? I bought my copy around 2 years ago for a measly $10 or so, and it's the original Anchor Bay DVD release, not the double feature with Shock.

Yep, unfortunately it's fairly difficult to find. But since I made that post I discovered a few NTSC versions to show up on ebay for relatively cheap (15.00-20.00 used).
