Which version to buy?

Hi. I saw Possession a long time ago when I was young, probably about 13 or 14...so about 15 years ago. I was just discovering Sam Neill and convinced my Grandma (God rest her soul) to rent it for me one night while she was babysitting me! (She was totally into horror movies and books so she was cool with renting it and I was in alot of toruble back then hence why I had a babysitter at 13/14 years old...lol)

Well, all I remember is the woman freaking out in the subway and smashing her eggs all over the wall and some mention of polar bears or something and I just didn't really "get it". Oh and that Sam Neill was awesome in it...lol.

So, I want to buy this now because I've been looking at getting some of Mr. Neill's older works and after reading some stuff here (but trying to stay away form spoilers) it looks like it is worth the money.

So I'm looking on Amazon and am unsure which version to buy. Someone said something about a Directors Cut in one of the other threads and I was wondering if that is the one to go with so I can get the full, uncut version of the film. Is the uncut version the 123 minutes long?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

The Anchor Bay version with ONLY "Possession" is more money for the same movie. And you get "Shock" (Beyond the Door 2) as well for less. Both of these versions are the same, 123 min. There is one longer version but I believe it is/was only available in France as a french movie clocking in at 127 min.
