Anyone Else Find Isabelle Adjani Really Difficult To Understand?

I couldn't really make out what she was on about half the time. It doesn't help that she screams bloody murder throughout most of the movie.
I had watched 'Diabolique' before I watched this and I was surprised at how 'Non-French' she sounded. Almost American at one point, but then again, This was from 1981 and 'Diabolique' was from 1996 so her accent has changed dramatically.

Her bio says she's fluent in German and American. So it wouldn't surprise me if she had tried hard to lose the German to appeal to audiences as an actress and made herself sound more American

You mean German and English.. American isn't a language. She is also fluent in Italian.

I didn't really have a problem with it, but this might be because one of my best friends when I was younger was someone with a very thick French accent.
