Mondo vision blu-ray

Guys, this is the Mecca. What an astounding package for an indescribable, amazing film. The limited set is far and away my most prized blu-ray, if anyone reading this has interest in the film I encourage you to seek it out as Mondo went all out on both the standard and limited releases. I'm just getting into Zulawski's other films brought to us by Mondo Vision and praaaay that their next release is On the Silver Globe. That will be a momentous day in cinema

This was a pricey BluRay, but so so worth it.

It will definitely be one of the best releases of this year. Simply stunning transfer. It looks like it was shot yesterday. I got the cheaper version of the 2 and couldn't be happier. The film is the same on both releases, same disc so if you can do without all the tchotchkes, go for the cheaper one. It's still beautiful and an amazing blu-ray.

Come on Mondo, you're such a tease, release more blu-rays.

My understanding from someone who contacted Mondo Vision is that The Blue Note is next, following On The Silver Globe, no word on whether they'll be DVD or blu-ray, that may come down to their film sources and how well Possession sells. My limited copy is #1037 which I got back in July so they may be close-ish to selling out. Also "cheaper" seems like a bad word, I'd say less costly because the special edition is sturdy as hell and just as beautiful, but I needed those essays, music, and blue velvet :)
P.s. the trailer for Blue Note I found on cinefamily (they did a theatrical release of Zulawski's films a little bit ago) looks insane, found clips from it on YouTube and it seems so beautiful...hurry and release the damn thing!!
