No this is the real Super Fuzz. Its been released by Jef Films Inc just like the VHS was. Anchor Bay had bought the rights to Super Fuzz and was planning on making a special edition DVD but there was a big copyright dispute over the movie and it looks like Jef Films ended up releasing it. This version is just a basic no frills release and not many places carry it but it is indeed the real Super Fuzz movie. Maybe as part of the copyright settlement Anchor Bay will release a special edition sometime in the future and you would see a bigger rollout.

I purchased this DVD from Amazon for my Brother. I have never seen this movie but it is one of his favorites. I had it shipped direct to his house for his birthday, so I have no idea about the quality. I talked to him last night and he told me that the picture quality was worse than his vhs copy, and that there are no end credits. He also told me that there were missing scenes.
Has anyone else had this problem or have a comment about it?

Ive read a few people are unhappy about the picture quality but that shouldnt come as a big suprise since Jef Films is the company that put it out. They dont have a very good reputation of doing high quality work
shareI'd suggest buying the Italian release. The audio/video quality is GREAT and there aren't forcer subtitles for the English track. It's kinda cheap too.
