Super Fuzz DVD on Netflix.com

I don't know if this is the version that everyone's talking about. It's put out by Wham!USA. There are really no frills here, but there is a cast biography section. I had been checking every once in a while since I've been a Netflix member and never saw Super Fuzz until about a week and a half ago. Of course I bumped right to the top of my queue. I can't believe how much of the film I remember.

I know what you mean. I just ordered it on NetFlix. I can't wait to see it after all of these years. I posted earlier that I only remember two things from this movie, the electric chair and Ernest Borgnine.

That's the same version that's been offered on ebay for years now. The same version illegally marketed by a criminal outfit called "Jef Films" and the same version you'll find on a crappy old VHS tape if you can find one. THIS FILM DESERVES BETTER TREATMENT. If your only memories of SUPER FUZZ are watching it on television, or renting it on VHS, then I suppose this version will be good for nostalgia purposes, but all you need to do is check some VERY RECENT threads in these very forums for the film to discover that the ITALIAN DVD is anamorphic widescreen with both the Italian DUB track AND THE ORIGINAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE audio track, plus some decent extras. If you search around, you can get it for well under $20 U.S. shipped. Yes, you will require an all-region player to properly watch it, but seriously, what true film buff DOESN'T have one of those these days? Every under-$100 player at Target or Walmart (Malata, Cyberhome, Electrohome, you name it) is either region-free and Pal/NTSC capable right out of the box, or can be made that way with any of a bazillion hacks available online. Do yourself a favour, get the real deal and see how good SUPER FUZZ really looked....

Thanks for the info. I think I was only like 6 or 7 when I saw it.
