' 'The Spawning' is the finest flying killer fish movie ever made.'

That quote is attributed to James Cameron and is supposedly found on the extras of the Terminator 2 DVD. But I just went thru all the extras on all versions of T2 on DVD and I haven't been able to find it.

Anybody know where it's actually from?

Yes, it was a joke. He laughed after he said it.

Would love to see this as a special edition DVD with Cameron and Henriksen commentary and interviews.

James Cameron does have a good sense of humor lol

the only reason this movie is enjoyable is because of Cameron.
Good thing they put Lance in it 2. Any movie that open with two people "doing it" under water while diving and getting attacked by killer iranha is a movie worth watching till the end.

one of those so bad it's goodmovie

Not anymore it isn't! The title now goes to Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D, which features flying fish definitely able to kill people and almost taking a bite out of Anita Briem's ass. They may not be the main attraction of that movie, but they look better, act better and fly better than the ones in Piranha Part II.

Are you serious? You need a Dr. House dosage to sharpen your sarcasm and irony, pal.

Haha, yes, he did said that. He even says it again when he's a guest in "Inside The Actors Studio". James Lipton says to him that particualry phrase he said and James Cameron laughed and says he still believes the same. The interview is post-Avatar by the way (1 March 2010 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1607083/ )
