Remember Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters doing that B/W musical act midway trought the picture?
What classic musical is that and what is the song called?

I hope someone can help me out.

I think you're referring to the "Let's Face the Music and Dance" number. If so, it's from "Follow the Fleet" and was originally performed by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The song was written by Irving Berlin.
