Does every region release have the re-edited disco scene?
In UK copies, I've been told "brown sugar" and the stare-out music has been replaced which would kinda ruin the scene a bit. Is it the same on all editions? Thanks.
The only DVD release that i know of which contains the original songs is the 1999 R1 DVD release from Goodtimes Home Video. The Goodtimes DVD is now out of print. Universal re-acquired the distribution rights and chose to release the film themselves on DVD in 2004. The two songs, Brown Sugar and I'm A Man, have been replaced on the Universal DVD release. You can still find copies of the Goodtimes DVD quite often on Ebay. The Goodtimes release is fullscreen only. It also doesn't have the greatest picture quality, but it does have the original songs intact.
Any idea if the Goodtimes 1999 DVD has the theatrical ending? I believe the Universal edition contains a slightly cut ending, with Stallone firing less shots at the very end.
