Haha the film began with DaSilva dressed in drag and it ended with the same, nice parity :)
Wolfgar let a petty desire for revenge, presumably for the killing of Shaka, cloud his supposed keen judgement. He could have easily escaped after the bus crashed into the water and set up shop somewhere else. I think that would be the more realistic scenario.
