Blu-Ray

I think Nighthawks is one of Stallone's biggest and best hits, even up until today. This film is on Encore now. Since Stallone provided an audio commentary for First Blood Special Edition DVD, I would spend the extra money to buy this film again if Stallone would record an audio commentary, maybe a brief documentary or reflections from the cast on making this film, and it would be nice to see a couple of teaser trailers and television spots for this film. I wonder why Universal hasn't given this film the proper treatment that it deserves. Just my personal opinion. What do you folks think? I am surprised that Universal pictures didn't re-release this film in a 30th Anniversary Special Edition in Blu-Ray. It would be nice if the director or producers of this film could clean up the picture quality a little bit and maybe add a Dolby Digital Soundtrack for this film. I know it wouldn't be a crystal clean picture or soundtrack given this film was mostly filmed during the winter of 1980-81. If they can put Rocky 5 on Blu Ray, then they can surely work on this film a little bit.
