Shout Factory/Scream should do uncut special edition blu-ray

Hell yeah! keep it coming!the more the merrier, i don't think i can wait any longer, it was on TV the other night (ITV 4 UK swearing intact, usual violent scenes we're all familiar with) each time i see this i can't help be reminded that there is cutting room floor material waiting to be re-inserted.

I can watch NIGHTHAWKS over and over again (well,you know what i mean) without any problems,but you're right.

40 minutes of footage missing? Alright,let's say that it was usual workprint/assembly cut. How many minutes would be cut for better pace? 10,15,more or less. And movie would still have scenes that would probaly help with the story and characters. As for gore scenes,i would say that about 3 minutes of gore was cut out. This is just a guess,but remember,there is one track on soundtrack called "Face To Face" which is 3 minutes long,and i'm pretty sure that it was used in uncut ending.

I will send E-mail to the Shout!,and hopefully,if more of us fans does the same,maybe something will be done for this movie. It's not like we begging for uncut FIRST BLOOD,so there is some chance that they will be interested in special edition of small movie like Hawks.

Only problem is are there any deleted footage still available. But after hearing the news about discovery of original 130 minutes cut of EVENT HORIZON and seeing 50 minutes of deleted scenes from BLUE VELVET,i can say that there is a chance that original cut of Hawks is still locked up in Universal vaults.

Even if its from old VHS tape (like APOCALYPSE NOW workprint),i would still pay money to see it,just like anyone else here.
