I love the things his character said about terrorists and how to deal with them. It's been a while since I've seen it, I can't remember exactly how he put it but the things he said were very timely to what we are dealing with now. Anyone out there agree on this? I thought Davenport's character made the movie. Rutger Hauer was awesome in this also. Definitely Stallone's best. I wish he made more movies like this.

Davenport was excellent as Hartman and his comments about terrorism were spot-on in their accuracy and timeliness.

The one time he let his hard exterior slip, and began to relax, and that happens. One does wonder how Chaka got out of the Museum unseen...
I've seen Nigel Davenport in a number of English TV series, sometimes as baddies. But he also played Professor Van Helsing (opposite Jack Palance) in Dan Curtis' version of DRACULA.
I agree. He did a great job in "Nighthawks".
