This and F13 were both Paramount movies. I couldn't help but wonder if things had turned out differently. We might've seen tons of sequels, Halloween masks and haunted houses sporting the gas mask, instead of a hockey mask.

Weird how it turned out. I guess more people are familiar with summer camps than coal mines.

I think the miner mask is more effective than a hockey mask but I don't think MBV needed multiple sequels, it's great as one film but it would be interesting if Harry Warden became more known than Jason Voorhees.
