Axel's father was killed by Warden ~ No one in the town knew this????

At the end, the Mayor mentions this but no one else knew?? 20 years pass by and this information didn't leak out? The bartender even tells the Warden story at the bar with Axel sitting close by. That's probably why Axel killed him. How insensitive! Axel didn't look too bothered though (Oh yeah, he stabbed his finger but that was before Happy mentioned that Warden killed the two supervisors).

Don't get me wrong, I love the film. I just found this kind of funny. I would have had Axel storm out of the bar or looked pissed off at the story Happy was telling. On the other hand, I guess it would have been obvious that he was the killer.

Another thing I found funny was when the killer snuffs the guy in the steaming hot dog water. Anyone could have walked in. Kinda risky imho. They should have shown him lock the door or something. It all happened kinda fast.

I agree that they should have had Axl give Happy a pissed off face during his story... paint it as a red herring.

He did say it was a stupid legend after Hap finished his story. Funny how Hap left out the part that one of the men that Warden killed was Axel's father. After all, Hap seemed to know everything that was going on in the town.
