That's the great thing about this movie, with the possible exception of Howard none of the characters are stock horror characters and don't act as usual.

You are making the mistake of thinking you are more important than you actually are.

I know what you mean about how the characters in this movie did a fantastic job compared to other horror movies.

Well the classic one is good for back in 1981 but now the newer one seems more interesting. The only thing that I do not agree with is switching the roles of the characters though in the new film.

I wasn't crazy about the way the remake ended, either, compared to the original.
