My Blood Valentine, Friday the 13th, and The Burning all have a scene where a banjo/blue grass interlude is played on the soundtrack? Weird? Anyone else know if there are other early 80's slashers that have this in common?

I never noticed that. I've scene all ov them. I own My Bloody Valentine and The Burning. The Burning is my favorite slasher ever.
