When Axel is unmasked, he has an unexpected and rather interesting expression on his face. You’d think he’d look wild. Angry. Instead, he looks lost and actually quite sad.

shareWhat about the expression before he was revealed? When he was climbing the ladder to "lead" the others to safety he was smiling. I still remember watching the movie and seeing that told me he's the killer. I said as much to my father when it happened. Afterwards he wanted to know how I could have picked up on that.

i also felt pretty sad for him.
