Finally saw this.. I think I'm in love...

I've been a fan of Ferrara for a while now, so I decided to try and find this movie. I had to order it from Korea where it is apparently really popular. I watched it the other night, we were drinking and smoking a little chronic, nothing special... Anyways, I just remember being blown away by this woman! This girl can kill me any day.

The most awesome and powerful moment has to be when she is about to kill that freshly divorced scumbag, and he grabs the gun and blows his own brains out!

This movie is not flawless by any means, but if I made something this dope I'd be satisfied, despite all the criticism... Yeah we know she can't be that good of a shot right off the bat.. We know she didn't have that many bullets... Blah Blah Blah..

It's an original story and it stands out among a lot of the other femme fatale garbage out there.

But I have an undying respect for this woman Zoe Lund.. Not because of her performance in this film, but because she wrote BAD LIEUTENANT! The grittiest, sleaziest, and somehow one of the most powerful films ever made! Then she has a guest appearance in the film with her shooting dope! Lord have mercy.

Nice touch on the Nun outfit for the Halloween slaughter fest!

Why'd you have to order it from Korea? I live in Canada and it's available for rent on DVD at a local video store. There's obviously a North American release of this available to buy somewhere.

Possibly, the distribution part of the film industry works in mysterious ways. Maybe it's available in Canada but not America. Korea obviously loves it, and it may be more available in Europe, but it's definitely hard to find. A lot of underground film stores I went to told me it was out of print.

I AGREE...this is one of most perfectly casted character roles, and ZOE LUND merely with her screen presence,makes all sense of the rage she developed against men.Without a single dialogue,she depicts innocence,fear,hatred..everything about her is perfect..Just for her,this movie can be watched 10 times...Great Performance by her..

Why so Serious ?

Please remember that Zoe Lund died due to her drug habit. A sad end to a great talent. Yes, this is a brilliant movie with a perfect performance from Zoe.
