Impressive for movies now.. but a dime a dozen back then.
If we're going to compare movies from then and now, obviously this is better than most. HOWEVER this film is FILLED with mistakes (IE A trumpet sounding like a saxophone)
It really does follow the "Death Wish" format to a tee. Injured weaker person gets hurt even more, gets a gun...starts luring people to their death who she sees as threat or a perceived threat. TONS of these films were made. The acting is bad (very bad) and lots of continuity errors which make no sense.
Sorry Drafthouse, I know you're trying to be edgy... but resurrecting a movie from the early 80s which you bought the rights to just to get a media campaign around doesn't buy it for me.
