The Central Park gang consists of five people. I thought for sure one of them was "The Guru" aka "Gangstarr"(rap artist). IMDb doesn't have him credited for Ms.45. Is this a mistake???

I don't believe so.
Guru didn't come to New York until the mid '80s. I think he was still in Boston at the time that Ms. 45 was released ('81).
