So is the Grindhouse DVD really the complete Uncut Version?

This might sound like a stupid question but I though I would ask given how people keep bringing up two scenes that I have never seen in any of the so called uncut versions of the film:

1 - Reported Hardcore scenes before the first victim gets her head cut off or any other supposed hardcore.

2 - The scene where the girl in the elevator is hacked up. Reportedly you see both arms sawed off but every version I have seen has only the one arm cut then it cuts to another scene. (On a side note: I can't see why that would be cut given how gory most of the other scenes are)

The versions I have of pieces were released from Diamond entertainment, Revok, and BCI Entertainment.

I emailed Grindhouse asking about the oral sex scene. The guy who wrote back was aware of this supposed scene, but said they never saw such footage in any print. Sounded like they searched thoroughly, so maybe it never existed?

Thanks Latherzap. I'm still curious if there ever existed the scene where you see the woman in the elevator get her other arm cut off (as so many people claim). I have my doubts but I will email Grindhouse and see what they say.

Just as I suspected. The Grindhouse release is uncut and unless someone has proof, I guess all those other claims of Hardcore sex and extra violence are just B.S.

Not necessarily.. at least regarding the oral sex scene. Low budget films back then were notorious for being re-edited for different audiences. For example, the movie SCREAMERS (which was a re-edit of ISLAND OF THE FISHMEN I believe) had the whole bit of "seeing a man turned inside out!" Needless to say, when audiences didn't get what was advertised, Roger Corman actually filmed a gore scene to be randomly stuck into the movie to justify the marketing ploy. So in this case, there is nothing saying that along the way, some of the prints of PIECES didn't have an oral sex scene thrown in there that had nothing to do with the actual cut of the movie that Piqour made.

The only place I could see it fitting is the scene about halfway through the movie where the chief red herring (the college student who pals up with the cops) sees the blond tennis coach walking by the brick building and his girlfriend is whining for him to come back to bed. He complains that she is keeping up the neighbors and she replies "if you gag me I won't make any noise".

IMDB has this on the alternate versions page, [Alternate footage includes black underwear on the skinny dipping scene].
I've never seen any version of Pieces where the skinny dipper was completely nude. Has anyone else?
The different releases I've seen are: Grindhouse, St. Clair, Diamond DVD's, and the Vestron VHS.

I have the Grindhouse DVD. Here's what mine has: swimmer has underwear. Elevator girl only shows one arm getting cut off, but later both are removed when they find her. Girl killed on busted water bed is pantyless (maybe someone thought she was the pool girl). Tennis girl shows full frontal/side nudity, but puts her panties on just in time to get cut in half. The dean's killshot is actually pretty tame. It looks like he got hit in the head with a paintball. No brain splatter at all. But, overall, it's everything I remember from the VHS tape I rented years ago.

The only thing that I can see might qualifying as proof of any extra gore is this picture of a decapitated head (from the decapitation scene, obviously) that you can see on the Hysteria Lives review... I've not seen any ersion that features it. But strangely enough, noboy has ever reported THAT missing.

The decapitated head of the first victim (girl reading on lawn) was shown in a picture in Fangoria Magazine in 1983. I thought the shot was on the Vestron VHS if I recall. The scene isn't in the new DVD from Grindhouse (her body is, but no shot of her head on the grass).

Do you guys mean something like this shot jodancer (the Skateboard Girl, as well as the decapitation) posted: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/812/milgritos1.jpg/
She says the scene (and another she was in) NEVER made it into a cut of the movie.
