Hello,

I understand from reading threads here that you were the Skateboard Girl in Pieces! Cool!

Could you possibly help me out by telling me who was responsible for selecting and putting the music into the American/English version of the movie? I would like to speak with them if at all possible.

I realize that the credits say "music by CAM", but knowing this has gotten me nowhere after much research over the years. I have been very interested in the song used for your segment on the skateboard, and song used for the aerobics class.

Hi Jeff,

I'm sorry but I can't help you here as I have no idea what went on in post production. I didn't even know that there was a different soundtrack in the English release until a couple of years ago when I saw a clip on YouTube!

I have seen mentioned on other forums CAM "Ring of Darkness" but I can't seem to come up with anything.

I spent some time looking into this a couple years ago and came to the conclusion that CAM is an acronym for some sort of royalty-free music library for movie/television/radio productions. Since this was such a cheaply done movie, this makes sense not paying for original music. I think finding the original artists of those songs might be next to impossible...

CAM is not Carlo Maria Cordio. CAM is not a person, but a music library (not royalty-free, though). It is or was Italy-based and there was a sister company in spain called CAM España.

It is entirely possible that some of Cordio's music ended up being owned by CAM and thus it popped up in Pieces.

Account inactive till original titles are back as default. Or Hell freezes over. What happens 1st.

do you recall what year you filmed this movie??

It was in 1982, I don't remember exactly which month but early 82 and I remember it was very cold in Madrid!
