After the scene where the guy kills the girl by the pool, the police grab him. Then it cuts away, and the police act as if they haven't caught the killer for the rest of the movie (or for a little while, as I haven't finished the movie). What happened, and it isn't under "goofs" on here, so I don't know what to think of it.
shareThe person they grab wasn't the actual killer, it was the groundskepper. He was just at the scene and looked guilty. The actual killer ended up being The Dean.

shareI've just watched it and that was a weird but hilarious scene. He suddenly starts fighting people like he's guilty and I gathered he wasn't as it was too early/obvious. But they thought they had him and yet before anymore killings happened they where still acting like the killer was unknown.
shareNot once in that scene did anyone shout "Police! Freeze!" or anything like that. It was dark and people just popped out at the guy so he was just defending himself.
