Marsha
Boy, if all werewolves looked like her, I would seriously consider going over to their side!
Woof!

Seriously... she's like the Angelina Jolie of werewolves. She was out of control. I'm glad she made it out alive at the end of the movie... "Rare."
shareShe was more evil in the books.

She is one of the best horror movie characters there is. It's a shame she doesn't appear in any of the sequels.
Death lives in the Vault of Horror!
She was gorgeous and awesome and I loved her final scene"Rare"
shareI just re-watched parts 1 & 2 for the first time in years. Part 2 is obviously terrible (though enjoyable in it's own way), and in no way comparable to this, but I kind of got the impression that the Mariana character was kinda/sorta supposed to be Marsha. Granted she's black, but they got a lot of other details from this wrong, so I don't think it's completely unlikely that she was a "re-imagined" version of the character.
shareEven though this is an old post, she never appears in any of the sequels due to the fact that she was dead probably before then. Elisabeth Brooks went down pretty hard due to terminal cancer. There’s a memorial site on the web that I believe is still up. Very sad indeed.
shareSeeing as she was making movies up until 1991 (the year Howling 6 came out) I'd have to say you are wrong on her not being in the sequels because she had died.
In fact she dropped out of Howling 2 because she was suffering from pelvic inflammatory disease at the time.
She was so fcking hot.
I'm happiest...in the saddle.
Totally agree.
When she took off her clothes during the werewolf sex scene... WOW!!!!
She DEFINITELY left an impression in this movie for sure! She had a uniquely exotic face and an amazingly lovely figure. How terribly tragic that she was yet another person whose life was so untimely claimed by that f'ng miserable disease called cancer.
"Life IS pain highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something".
That exotic look you speak of was due in part to the fact that Ms. Brooks had some Native American in her. If you’re very observant you can tell.
shareYes indeed. Very beautiful. Elisabeth Brooks is wonderful as Marsha
