Hell Night on Blu-ray?

Have anyone read or heard about a Blu-ray release of Hell Night?
I can't think of a better "slasher" suited for HD than this title. Think of the gothic settings, costumes, burning fires and vibrant colors.
I'm sure it would look fantastic.
The earlier Anchor Bay DVD looked great, but a new High Definition transfer would be the the definitive release.

Do you agree Hell Night fans?

Finally: Please NO CRAPPY REMAKE OF THIS CLASSIC! LEAVE IT ALONE! ENOUGH!

I haven't heard anything about it coming out on blu-ray but it would be great if it does!

I agree with you sir 100% :)

That would be sweet if it did.

Give it time, Blu-ray has lots of catching up to do, we'll get it one day.

If you expect the unexpected doesn't the unexpected then become the expected?

I'd like to hope so, the only place I ever found this is on VHS and youtube.

Ok you didn't like the film,
But why so much hatred over a movie?

I'd love that! The DVD I have looks like an old VHS tape. ;)

It'd be great to see, it's one of my most wanted horror BR's (Halloween 4, Night of the Demons, Alone in the Dark ('82), and Phantasm 2 among the others with a similar vibe), but Anchor Bay/Starz hasn't put much of their back catalog out on BR, and who knows if they even have the distribution rights anymore (William Lustig from Blue Underground actually had the rights to a lot of the films and he worked with Anchor Bay). It'd probably be more fruitful right now to contact Showtime/The Movie Channel and request that they play it as they have been showing a bunch of late 70's-mid 90's slashers and horror and thriller films the past few years like Student Bodies, April Fool's Day, The Gate, The River's Edge, Prophecy, Candyman 2, Scream, Ed and His Dead Mother, The Company of Wolves, Invaders from Mars (remake), Strange Invaders, etc.
