favourite scene from this?

While I do agree with everyone that the carpet rising scene and the scene where the monster is hovering over Denise's bed are both incredibly well done, I think another scene that really creeped the hell out of me was when Jeff is on the roof, right before he gets his neck snapped. The way the camera peers around the protruding pointed roof top really makes my neck hair stand up. I also love when May gets pulled down into the hole and decapitated. I wasn't expecting them to come from the ground as well! Excellent movie, underrated on every level.

Yeah, that is pretty cool. His eyes are freaky!!

The villain in this movie is sooooo underated, especially in 80s horror. This one went under the radar and is much better than some of the slasher flix it was ushered into the decade with, including Prom Night. There are some good well done scenes in this one, but I have to agree with a previous poster, the end scene. It presented a memorable visual for some reason. A mutated bad guy on a bent iron gate at the crack of dawn.


What about Bob?

I like when Peter finds his friend dead hanging on the rope and then gets chased by Andrew through the hedgemaze or w/e, it was really suspenseful.

Denise wearing next to nothing. Loved that garter belt!
