shareMe too! I got it for $15 it wasn't sealed, but it is in mint, and came with the pamphlet and all! Congrats I guess haha.
And Superheroes come to feast, to taste the flesh, not yet deceased
The 2002 version is better cause it's anamorphic, but I suppose you guys already know that, yeah?
Well Tropical, I get what I can...I mean it can't be picky when it comes to OOP dvds haha. I am always SUPER picky when it comes to widescreen specs, but for this I can let it slide. I am not shelling out 60 bucks to get an anamorphic one when the opportunity to get another one (may not be as originally shot, but still widescreen) may be far cheaper and in my lucky case it was so I took that opportunity.

This is what I've read about the 1999 release: "widescreen presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16 X 9 TVs." Doesn't that "enhanced for 16X9" mean anamorphic? I'm confused here.
shareI had the later edition which was released in 2008 according to Amazon, and the artwork is slightly different— it has the yellow-white title letters on the front as opposed to the bloody red ones, and the back of the cover looks totally different from the 1999 release. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find my DVD (ordered it on Amazon several years ago for 15 dollars) but I found a used copy of the 1999 disc with the bloody red title on the cover. I cannot tell a difference in picture, but it has been awhile since I'd last watched the other disc. I do personally like the cover art for the 1999 release better though.
shareI have that DVD and it looks great on my HDTV.
Halloween is coming...
