This is a good flick to go to sleep to....

Because there are many quiet scenes in this film, it is my go to movie to fall asleep with! This is not to say that the movie sucks or anything that you fall asleep to it. In fact this is a good movie, but if I want to fall asleep to a bed time movie, this is my pick 99% of the time. To each their own, try it sometime! What is your night night movie pick?

Legend of Hell House. Love the movie, but the quietness and the atmosphere are so tranquell. I have others but I must've put this on before bed more than any other. How about some others?

For some reason I couldn't sleep one day last week and I put on the original Nightmare on Elm Street, fell asleep shortly after Tina was murdered. Never seen Hell Night, I will have to check it out sometime.

lol, i actually did this the other night.i love the film but i was asleep half hr in.i usually listen to commentaries to mostly horror movies, witch is alrite if there abit dull like tcm3 but bad if there good like they live.

There are way too many jump scares in this for me to be able to fall asleep. ANDREW GARTH IS A MURDERER!!!

I go through phases. The past couple nights it's been The Initiation, which is what brought me to this board (and watch the movie, currently).

For a while it was Nightmare 3: Dream Warriors and the Child Play movies. Not too long ago it was also Night of the Comet, which I love!

It's not always horror, though. Sometimes it's Miss Congeniality or Tron <3

Oh, I have quite a few night night movie favorites.

Night Walker - 1964/Barbara Stanwyck/William Castle, b&W goodie!!!
Strait Jacket - More William Castle ghoulish fun, this time starring Joan Crawford. 1965.
Private Parts - 1972, kooky, perverse black comedy directed by Paul Bartel, starring creepy old lady, Lucille Benson.
Motel Hell - Starring Rory Calhoun and one of the FUNNY LADIES of the big screen, Nancy Parsons. Cozy little flick, seen it at least 35 times. 1980.
Scream Pretty Peggy - creepy little known TV movie made in 1973, with Barbara Siam Allen, Ted Bessel and of course, Bette Davis. Pretty short at 73 minutes, it's a classic little tv thriller. 1973.
College Girl Murders - late 60s German variation of the Giallo genre. Very colorful and campy. Catchy music score for the killer.
Black Sabbath/Blood and Black Lace - Two great early 60s Mario Bava. Filmed in breathtaking color, B&BL (1964) is often considered to be the first "Body Count" thriller.
