Does Rick Rosenthal own more footage that's never been released?.The reason I'm curious,is I've heard Pamela Susan shoop mention a scene in the hospital,where Michael is hiding inside a closet watching,and also I've seen a publicity photo of a scene with reporters arriving at the hospital.It would be wonderful if these and others still exist to maybe even make his own director's cut sometime.

Thank you for the link,interesting article,I have seen that amc cut on YouTube but it seems like a bit of a confusing mess with those alternate takes and scenes at different points,though there is a few I like and could see the benefit to the movie of including them.Maybe the TV cut is closer to Rosenthal's original vision,but I've still got a feeling they might be more shot footage available due to what cast members remember and publicity photos.
