All this muppet stuff coming out with '50th Anniversary'..celebrating 50 years of being green..is what all the movies are being advertised as but as all Muppet fans Know the Muppets began on Sesame Street in 1969.
Which makes them 38 not 50!

Kermit's been around for 50. That's why it says being green. Kermit appeared on Sam and Friends in 1955 the dvds were made in 2005.
