This movie was soooo boring...I was just wondering what makes it so revered among others? I really could not get into this AT ALL, and I did not find it creepy at all! And I am not one of those people who need the new special effects in order to be entertained, I was truly haunted by the changling...I just did not get this film!

It relies way too much on jump scares.

Actually, it didn't even rely on those. The jump scares were added much later, after the fact because the movie wasn't scary.

I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.

It had good performances from the six principals going for it, but it was poorly written and directed.
