She was 17, which is at or over the age of consent in most states. There are only about a dozen states in which the age of consent is 18. This movie was filmed in Connecticut and set in New Jersey; the age of consent is 16 in both of those states. In other words, she wasn't "jailbait" while filming this movie.

I don't dance, tell jokes or wear my pants too tight, but I do know about a thousand songs.

Funny thing is, if people didn’t know she was 16 and producers kept her nude sex scene in, everyone would be drooling over her.

But the moment we hear she was 16, people panic.
