my vote for most boring slasher film

Dull ass killer and story. Things start to happen after an hour into the movie but even then it's lackluster. A few kills in between would have been cool. Anyways, a real crap fest. Right up there with DON'T GO IN THE WOODS....ALONE!

ANOES 2010 wins that award. With Prom Night 2008 as a runner up.
At least this didn't put me to sleep >_>

This was just horrible. NOTHING happens for the first hour. Didn't they get the memo?! Somebody needs to die every ten minutes.

reply

Except nothing DID happen in the first hour. We didn't get any interesting character development, the plot wasn't progressed, and there weren't deaths. It WAS a boring movie. There doesn't need to be a death every 10 minutes to not bore people (Look at Scream)

It was boring to you. Not everyone thinks this film is boring or shares your same opinion. I personally think it's a good 80's slasher movie :).

This one was OK but not that memorable, my vote for most boring slasher would have to be Scream AKA The Outing, good lord that film was horrible, with the single most nonsensical and random ending of all time.

I somewhat like Scream 1981 :p. No joke. I went in with VERY, and I mean very low expectations. It wasn't too bad.

I know not everyone agrees, but that's not going to stop me from saying it's boring. I seriously hated this

It's funny a different people view movies differently. I thought the last 10-15 mins were the worst part of the movie. For me that's when it got boring and ridiculous

Agreed. This film is a hideously tedious talkfest and thus quite a painful slog to get through in a single viewing.

I get why some people might hate this movie, but I still think it's a decent little slasher. I do, however, think the decision to have an UN-masked and motive-less killer were two huge mistakes that kept Final Exam from being a more effective film overall. With that said, I like the characters and think the acting is pretty good for the era. I also think the murders are set up well, which makes the lack of blood more forgivable. Not the best of the best, but not a bad movie, either.

I hated every bit of this movie, except for maybe the last 10 minutes, but the previous 80-minutes was an utter bore with forgettable characters.

Ouch. Fair enough, though.

It's not a bad 80's horror/slasher flick and
I've seen worse like Fatal Games (1984). 5/10
