Why was Liza so rude to the help?

By her own admission, Liza was some slut secretary/dancer/unsuccessful fashion designer who was two seconds away from going on welfare before her gay uncle left her a cursed hotel, right? So then, she inherits this hotel through no hard work of her own — and the minute she gets there, she starts being a bitch to the staff.

"Ugh, Martha, are you finished cleaning yet?" "Ugh, Arthur, what are you doing in MY room?"

She probably thought renovating the hotel would take little to no effort.
When the reality hit, well....she lashed out at the help. :I

Very little in The Beyond makes sense.

"No more deals child, it is your flesh we want to experience, not your skill at bargaining."

They were a bit strange acting. But even weird people deserve respect and to be treated like humans.
