25th Anniversary re-issue?
Anyone know if there are plans to release a 25th anniversery edition on DVD?

I simply refuse to spend anymore money on "re-releases" of "special editions."
I think on this I would respend if the dvd were given some love, the picture on this dvd is not particularly great.
shareI took a second look at the transfer, its actually pretty good.
shareYea the transfer was very good considering the age of the film. Id read some comments that it was really bad, dirty or whatever.
I was surprised how clean it was when I ignored all that and bought the dvd.
Actually I will say its probably cleaner and crisper than almost any time it was played in the theater years ago.
Now how can that be? Well theaters run (used to run) a copy of the master film.
After 1 day that film has gone through a hot clunky,dirty projecter 4-5-6 times.
After a week the film is hacked up,dirty noisy, sometimes even been broken and spliced together.
As for a special edition, it grieves me that my beloved Caitlin Clarke (Velarian) passed away a couple years ago and was the only person that could have made this work of art any more special than it is.
Its a painful loss as a commentary with Caitlin would be a treasure.
