How come only Morpheus, Lawrence Fishburne's character Cutter

Was re-charged enoughed to do Charles Bronshon's super hot daughter Carol portrayed by the Robin Sherwood? She was certainly better looking than Rosario the maid. I never really understood that scene unless there was some bizarre editing.

I mean, if the rest of the gang was up for the task then they would not have waited for her to put her clothes back on before she ran away.

Well, probably because it was NOT Lawrence Fishburne's character who attacked the daughter, it was the other mugger "Punkcut" played by E. Lamont Johnson. These actors genuinely succeeded in making their characters as sleazy as possible

Good point.

Now that I think about it we don't really no how much time elapsed from when they showed Nirvana's turn with Rosario to when Bronson showed up, it could have been hours. The point is that they may have only portrayed round 1 with the maid, the story line allows for more of Rosario's raping being done off camera. So by the time they abducted the daughter portrayed by the super hot Robin Sherwood they probably all had really low batteries except for Punk Cut.

The first ever actor to die from AIDS (E. Lamont Johnson): it was his character (Punkcut) that was raping the daughter, not Cutter.

That is interesting, he died way before Rock Hudson, you would think it would be in his "Trivia" under his profile.

reply

Yep, well I suppose it's possible that there could have been major film actors/actresses that died before him due to those causes, but he was the first one where doctors definitively knew that the HIV morphed into AIDS is why he couldn't fight off common illnesses and the like anymore.

HIV/AIDS was discussed in the national news and brought to the attention of the American masses for the first time in 1982 (coincidentally the same year this film was released). This was the last film he was in, so I would imagine that his health started to decline not too long after it premiered. That makes his scene where he dies on the stretcher in the park the night of the shootout with Kersey sort of surreal to me since it was his last time on the big screen.

You must have seen the edited version of Rosario's rape scene. If you ever watch the uncut version, you will see they all raped Rosario. Lawrence Fishburnes' character was the second to the last guy to rape her. Odd how all the black guys raped her from the back and the whites did her from the front. Maybe it's just a coincidence,

The OP was referring to the scene after that (in the abandoned building that night) where the daughter gets raped.

Black guys did her from behind, and the white guys did her from in front? Must be that they were firm believers in "separate, but equal".
