I didn't understand the ending and am completely lost???

So his fiance decides to leave him since he chose to become a vigilante. After killing the last man, he comes home, and is going to find that his fiance left him, I assumed.

But after he walks into his house, the movie all of a sudden cuts away, and he's back at the office, talking about some work related business, and he has a smile on his face, like nothing wrong happened.

His fiance just left him, after getting his revenge. Why is he happy and oblivious now, without showing any kind of closure prior?

Did I miss something?

The scene at the office is taking place a few months later. He has apparently gotten over the fiance and has moved on. He is apparently comfortable being an architect by day and a vigilante by night.

I guess but it sorts of demeans the impact of what happened, if he is just over it and doesn't care.

remember, he had been drinking ( more than likely ) as it was asked by his friend, so that was open to the viewer but no it took time for him to get over and time had passed as other's here said and he was moving on.

I honestly don't know why kersey though ever got with women, they were more harm than good to the poor fella. or you could say it was the other way around lol.

Don't feel bad. I was confused and lost as well. I just can't stand plot holes
