FIRST BLOOD REMAKE?

I think First Blood (Rambo I) was remake of Death Hunt.Many scenes was similar.Jump from rock on the tree...

No. FIRST BLOOD was based on the 1972 novel, and DEATH HUNT is apparently based on a true story that happened in 1931.

But it's hard to ignore the similarities and closeness in time that the films were released ('81 & '83, respectively). While the book First Blood may have been written before the film of Death Hunt - the tone of both films and action sequences are too close in nature to chalk up to mere coincidence.

Look at Chato's land a 1972 western in which Bronson is also chased by a who posse of guys.

"Death hunt" and "Chatos land" are both underated westerns with great casts.

Either way, First Blood is the far better and much more memorable movie overall.

Death Hunt was decent but First Blood is excellent.

Andrew Stevens being smooched by a guy makes it just as memorable! It's hard to believe IRL some people think nothing of doing something like that only to be shocked when their lives are taken! He was a Mountie for Gawd-sake! That had to be one sick mother..! Technically that's assault and battery! 
