Called 'Spaceship'?
I swear I saw this on Showtime in the early 80's & it was titled "Spaceship"...or have I gone barmy?
The UK title was Spaceship

The movie was originally released as "The Creature Wasn't Nice"
Then it was released again with "Spaceship" [that's what my VHS copy says]
THEN, when Leslie Nielsen was having even more success with the Naked Gun series, the company figured they'd cash in more money and re-name it "Naked Space" [what my DVD copy says] plaster his face on the cover in hopes more people would rent or buy in on account of him
This was the second movie I saw him in, after Forbidden Planet, so I'm one of those people who fall into the group of who knew him before the Naked Gun series. yeah, I know, whoopde-do *S*

Yeah, today's younger generation finds it hard to believe that Leslie Nielsen used to be a fairly good dramatic actor before he turned to comedy. 'Forbidden Planet' was an excellent example.
