Bazooka boy meets Hannibal Smith?
Bazooka boy meets Hannibal Smith
Harry refers to a plan as Bazooka boy meets Hannibal Smith however this movie came out two years before the A-Team was made so who's the Hannibal Smith in the reference? share
Bazooka boy meets Hannibal Smith
I think he said Hannibal Brooks, who trekked a bunch of elephants over the Alps, which is why they knew to go looking for them in the Alps.
In the film 'Hannibal Brooks', the title character is played by Oliver Reed. Surely an in-joke.
No I'm watching the movie now. At 54 minutes and 32 seconds the guy with the eye patch is reading the cover of zowie comic book. He clearly says Bazooka Boy Meets Hannibal Smith. It is not Hannibal Brooks.

Interesting, I always heard it as Hannibal Smith too.
shareThe scene in the movie condorman at 54 minutes and 32 seconds where the guy in the eye patch is looking at the comic book and reads the cover and says Bazooka Boy Meets Hannibal Smith is the origin of the name Hannibal Smith. The A-Team came out in 1983 two years later. Stephen Cannell must have thought this would be an excellent Name for main character. Stephen Cannell also wrote The Greatest American Hero. Maybe he felt like the author of condorman stole from his show so he stole from their show in return.
