The 'true story' of the making of Cave Man
Basically, it's like Ringo Starr just decided he wanted to play Cave man and fight dinosaurs and such, then hired some folks because none of the other Beatles would play with him. Then after taking a lot of acid, they played Caveman in an isolated desert using a bunch of old movie props. By coincidence a film crew had been scheduled to begin filming a documentary about Ringo's life the very day this prehistoric party began. The crew quickly abandoned the idea of a documentary, knowing that, getting to film a drug-addled superstar having the ultimate make-believe party, complete with realistic movie props was a chance of a lifetime. Thus Caveman was born. A movie about adults, tripping acid and pretending to be cave men.
