If they remade this movie today they'd need to cut out the racist stereotyping of the Japanese as hyped up, super savvy, high tech folks.

The wealthy Arabs just chucking money at everyone probably wouldn't fly any more either.

And wasn't Captain Chaos basically mocking that guy's mental health problems? The modern audience isn't going to go for that either...

There has been a video circulating around X (formerly Twitter) here at the end of 2023 where an Arab walks into a high end car dealer, followed by his entourage carrying a pallet of cash. He demands to see the most expensive car, to which he replies that it's not expensive enough.

Arabs just chucking money at everyone

Every employee that walks into the showroom, he literally throws a stack of cash to, "go have coffee."

I guess some things never change.
