So Cropsy only targeted Todd?

I understand he went after the kids at camp because they reminded him of the same kids who burned him. But he only kills one of the actual people responsible? If he didn't die, would he have moved from camp to camp killing or would he have targeted those responsible?

Maybe Todd was the last one to get? The movie makes it unclear.

He didn't kill Todd.

Everything was clear to me. He blames everybody. Sort of like Friday the 13th with Mrs. Voorhees blaming everybody for Jason's death. Cropsy targets any campers since in his mind they're all to blame.

You're right. I meant 'tried to kill' not 'kills'. So, was it just a coincidence that he ran into one of the kids (Todd) who disfigured him while on his murder spree? Or did he purposefully stalk him?

Well it's never stated. However it would seem it was just a coincidence that he ended up at the same camp as Todd. Also he never seems to,target Todd until he attempts to rescue Alfred.

Cropsy is just deranged. Again any camper he deems responsible for his accident. Kind of off odd how the twist showing Todd was involved really never factors in. That twist wasn't really needed since Cropsy never targets Todd and only does at the end due to simply being there to help Alfred

The 'twist' was what made things confusing. Up until that point I had thought Cropsy was just killing campers because he was crazy after what happened and they all reminded him of the kids who burned him.

Actually, it's not the same camp! Cropsy was burned at Camp Blackfoot; the majority of the film takes place at Camp Stonewater. Only adds to the confusion. However, I agree that Cropsy probably wanted to murder anyone and everyone - including a prostitute that had zero to do with his mishap. Therefore it's also likely that Todd's involvement in his burning was coincidental.
