Wow he just didn't get or appreciate this masterpiece at all !

His review is really eye opening as to how a revered critic can be so wrong with his take on a such a great movie

this is not a "great" movie, it's above average, I'll give you that.

It has some great set pieces and magnificent transformation and gore effects. The story was somewhat thin, however.

it's a 3-star film, nothing wrong with that.

I believe the Ebert review (not read it in awhile) criticized the abrupt ending. It doesn't really have a third act.
