This Is A "Werewolf" For Folks Who Don't Like Werewolf Movies.
Harold Ramis made comedy films, like Animal House, Stripes and Into the Night, the latter of which is in my video library. Can you do comedy horror? I doubt it. I've not seen, nor ever shall see, Shaun of the Dead, because I think that zombies are stupid and useless and appeal to assholes; but I must protest when this John Landis-helmed alleged comedy POS gets high marks as the best werewolf movie, ever, when the film has no substantive textual respect for the history
of lycanthropy, and a facile nod to the fact that "the one who loves you must kill you"? To me, this film is trash.
