'I think he's a Jew'
When he first arrives in hospital, the nurse says something about him being a Jew, and then Jenny Agutter gently tells her off.
What was that about?
The nurse says she has checked, clearly meaning he is circumcised as the Jewish custom. She probably did not realise many American boys are circumcised every year and did not necessarily make him Jewish.
