Do you think we got to see enough of the werewolf

We don't really get to see enough of the werewolf what was the point of making a werewolf movie where you don't really get to see enough of the werewolf just like a few seconds and that's it

reply

absolutely.

not that i'd change it but i'd go so far as to say the movie would've worked fine with even less facetime with the monster.

imo

I feel lucky that we got to see as much as we did because Landis said he was originally going to only show the wolf very briefly, but was so enamoured with Baker's work that he thinks he showed it too much. I'm kinda split on the subject of how much it's shown though. It probably would've worked better with less screen time, but dayum, that's a good lookin' wolf!

It's more effective that way. If we saw the werewolf too much it would lessen the impact of those moments when we do see it near the end.

reply

I am sure you would be happy with a poorly designed CGI shitfest.

reply

No we did not. The more werewolf, the better the movie. This was horrible

reply

We could've seen more of Jenny Agutter in the shower than in the bed also

reply

Finally, a person of culture.

reply

It's not really about the werewolf. It's about the story of how an American in London is dealing with the fact that he had just been turned into a werewolf.
