not that i'd change it but i'd go so far as to say the movie would've worked fine with even less facetime with the monster.

I feel lucky that we got to see as much as we did because Landis said he was originally going to only show the wolf very briefly, but was so enamoured with Baker's work that he thinks he showed it too much. I'm kinda split on the subject of how much it's shown though. It probably would've worked better with less screen time, but dayum, that's a good lookin' wolf!
shareIt's more effective that way. If we saw the werewolf too much it would lessen the impact of those moments when we do see it near the end.
